November!
It is hard to believe that November has come and gone! This month was full of learning and fun as we closed out our Fall unit by exploring leaves, learned all about the weather, and spent a few days reflecting on the things that we are most thankful for! During our leaf unit, the friends took a nature walk to explore their outside environment and used what they found on the walk to explore and investigate in the classroom and used these items for various projects in our centers. They used the leaves they collected in art to create their very own "Leaf Man"and in science used microscopes and magnifying glasses to examine the leaves. After we completed our Fall unit, the friends voted to explore the topic of Weather. During this unit, our dramatic play center was transformed into a news station where the children engaged in role playing as news anchor and meteorologist.
